There’s something about this week, I can’t quite put my finger on it but I feel more tired than usual. I think I just have these never-ending lists of things to do and I feel that I won’t get much done so then I end up vegging out and turning on Netflix instead. I mean, if that’s not escaping daunting tasks I really don’t know what is!
I think we all really do need those days, though. We can call them Mental Health Days! I love being able to converse with friends and coworkers about the most recent episode of NBC’s This Is Us and Netflix’s (I think I might have just made up that word) Love. If you aren’t already watching those two I highly recommend them!
So when I wake up tired from staying up all night binge-watching the latest and greatest, I have to look for ways to start my mornings off right. I can’t let the entire world know I’ve had a lack of sleep!
I will admit sometimes I do have a hard time deciding whether to choose coffee or actual food. When I get up I don’t always have an appetite for food and find myself inhaling multiple cups of coffee before heading out the door. Although coffee definitely helps my morning sleepyness I don’t feel it’s always enough and I think my body is actually asking for nutrients.
And that was one of the reasons I decided to write about this greek yogurt bowl. We don’t have to decide between coffee and food because we can have both!
I know you’ll love this Greek yogurt bowl because:
1. it’s full of protein
2. it’s topped with delicious fruit
3. it takes 5 minutes to make
Are those three reasons convincing yet?
Go ahead and grab some Greek yogurt, oats, some honey and some fruit and GO TO TOWN! These yogurt breakfast bowls are the way to go! I totally won’t even judge you for adding in extra chocolate.
