These crispy flavorful chicken nuggets are perfect for snacking, sharing with a crowd and making you feel like a kid again. Plus, it only took 30 minutes! You can eat them on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce- ketchup, mustard, barbecue, ranch. I’m totally a sauce person so dontbesurprisedifihaveallfourontheside.
It was just the other day when I was with a friend of mine at Aldi when looking through the frozen aisle and talking about chicken nuggets. I’ve usually kept the Tyson brand of them in my freezer because they make a good snack (and sometimes lunch) to make me feel like a kid again! I’ve eaten with chips, cookies, pickles, snack-pack, you name it. Anyway, back to this nugget recipe. Mine ended up being a bit large but I did not think they should be called chicken tenders!
So!
These nuggets are super easy to make and gets me really excited. Who needs Tyson? McDonald’s? Plus, parmesan cheese.
I can hardly wait to have the chicken become crispy, I’m impatient and really spend time just standing in the kitchen watching them cook. Like I have nothing better to do- washing dishes hello?!! I should really try and be better about these dishes! Anyway, the chicken..please, for goodness sake, be patient and cook them all the way through!
Check out that color! Mmmm this is going to be so good.
If you’re not a fan of frying in oil you can also skip this step and bake instead. For now, I’m skipping the oven and cooking them this way.
This chicken nugget and ketchup combo brings back so many childhood memories and really makes me feel like a kid again!
Extra parmesan? Don’t mind if I do!

Childhood memories of snacks are the best, Tabitha. I often try to cook just like your grandmother did, so I understand. I will try the chicken nuggets! Yum!!
