If you have asparagus and prosciutto and have 15 minutes, you can make these!
It should take you about 10 minutes to prepare everything and get the pan ready and should take you about 5 minutes to fry and crisp them up. You might have to cook in multiple batches depending on the size of your skillet.
And then you can be on your merry little way!
If you have more asparagus than you know what to do with you can roll multiple ones with the prosciutto, or you can wrap them one by one. Up to you!
This makes a great snack to hold you over between meals because it’s got protein and veggies, and also makes a great side dish. It’s so easy and you’re going to love it!
Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 6 ounces sliced prosciutto, halved horizontally
Instructions
- Working one at a time, wrap prosciutto slide on each asparagus spear at an angle, covering entire length of asparagus. Repeat with remaining prosciutto and asparagus. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet to medium heat. Add asparagus and cook until prosciutto is crisp and asparagus is tender, or about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
